English assassins attempted to slay American icon Meat Loaf by presenting him with an award for "Classic Song". Immediately afterward he was rushed to a London hospital, but is said to be flying out of there, "rodentus wingae ex inferno".
A source close to the lucky singer said, "I reckon he don't speak no Latin."

The bastards. I am embarrassed by the conduct of my countrymen at times.
...though of course I should add that the actions and views of these extremists are not representative of the majority of the British public who would never bestow so cruel an accolade as "Classic"
